The poem of Stephen Crane, which I have (ab)used for this new track, seems to ask for the sense of life. An unknown narrator is asking a shadow near him. First he wants to know, who the shadow is and second he asks him, if life is fair or „bitter as eaten fire“. But the shadow is not answering, so the man insists: „Tell me!“, even more desperated. But at last he stated, that he will not „quaver“ and „dare“ something. It seems to mean, that the person will stay brave and fearless in life, but he still wants to hear the truth: „Tell me!“. The last call is fading and there is still no answer of the shadow.
Musically I have chosen two contrasting parts, the first deals with some strange chords creating a mystic atmosphere. The second raises the tempo drastically and underlines, that the main person is getting angry, because the shadow is not reacting.

lyrics
Mystic shadow, bending near me,
Who art thou?
Whence come ye?
And -- tell me -- is it fair
Or is the truth bitter as eaten fire?
Tell me!
Fear not that I should quaver.
For I dare -- I dare.
Then, tell me!
(Stephen Crane)
Do you like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden or Manowar?
Heartscore, a German-italian studio-project (no live-shows planned) bring back the power of classic Heavy Metal paired with some Prog- and Thrash-Metal influences.
Far out is an excellent descriptor for GOATS latest release. While saying that, if feels personal and nostalgic at times too. Never a dull moment as they say. It’s just really cool. Take a listen to it.. Acef Stripe
I'm not even going to choose a favorite track,
