Medusa's head

about

This is the first track of Heartscore's upcoming album. I plan to publish the full album at the end of the year, approximately November. In the meantime I will promote this track as an appetizer together with the accompanying video, which you can find here:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_J4fMI34pg

The track and the album feature again the italian singer Giacomo Rossi on Lead vocals. Since I work with Giacomo the music of "Heartscore" has changed from Progressive Rock to Heavy Metal and the upcoming album will mean a further step into pure Metal-territory. You can expect Power-Metal in the tradition of Judas Priest, Manowar and Iron Maiden. But some tracks will also touch Thrash-Metal.
It's also the first time in the history of "Heartscore", that I have written the lyrics myself and have not (ab)used old poems.

lyrics

Medusa’s head

Raped by the god of the sea
Beheaded by her enemy
She was all alone

Rage of a woman’s soul
Turned into a brutal ghoul
Her look turns men to stone

Chorus:

Medusa’s head was cut away
But her glare still found its way
Medusa’s head! Medusa’s head!

Caused by Poseidon’s force
Dead she gave birth to a horse
Riding to the sky

Snakes around her head
Soon you would be dead
Don’t look into her eyes

Chorus

She was beheaded so fast
Cause Perseu’s weapons were too vast
Sandals, helm and sword

Holding the shield like a mirror
He was able to beat her
Put her head in a sack and corded it

Chorus
